Be Impeccable with your Word.
Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.

Don't Take Anything Seriously.
Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won't be the victim of needless suffering.

Don't Make Assumptions.
Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness, and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.

Always do your Best.
Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be difficult when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse, and regret.

Go ahead - "Walk the Walk"

It's easy to perform all of the ritualistic aspects of acting as a spiritual being. To meditate, "fly" and experience many of the pleasurable parts of spirituality is breathtaking. However, the "rubber meets the road" when we are confronted with daily life, our jobs, our family and the world about us.

To actually "be" a spiritual leader is often quite difficult and often without reward - but that is our goal is it not? We're suppose to "love away" the people who offend, hurt and defy us in sometimes the most miserable of ways and this is very difficult as well, but try and remember that we didn't come here to relax, we chose to come to enlighten others and raise the vibration of thought to a higher level. And as always, our guides are here to help.

So as you go about your growth - your rough experiences and crooked paths included - remember that you are human as well. Give yourself credit for even having the courage to take on this task. There's no going back. Once you have felt the effects of spiritual completeness, there is only one way left ...
